They rejected the conformist and materialistic values of modern life and placed new emphasis on sharing and community. Fifty years later the messages and values of that era continue to inspire us. Jesse Saunders, the Originator of House Music, US Dance Music Hall of Famer, original member of the Chosen Few DJs, honored by President Barrack Obama, and City of Chicago, two-time Grammy nominee, long-time member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, wrote, produced, performed, mixed and released the first documented House record, ON & ON, in 1984. The House legend!

Hixxy, father of HTID, is well known for his performances on the Bonkers compilation series, Clubland X-Treme Hardcore, and his foundational “Toytown” single released in 1995. His own Raver Baby label was seen as the saviour of a hardcore scene. The Hardcore legend!

Mob Tactics, renowned for the inimitable style of techy – yet very funky, dancefloor Drum & Bass, their tunes are already firm staples in the sets of Andy C, Friction, Matrix & Futurebound, DJ Hype and Audio, to name but a few. The DNB future!
